Zusammenfassung

American Oncology Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, accurate patient care in a hematology/oncology setting in Central Georgia. You will assess patients, review labs, monitor vitals, administer therapies per JBIs, educate patients, and triage calls when needed.

Responsibilities include EMR documentation, ensuring proper charges, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Travel to other clinic locations may be required; English fluency is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Nursing Degree.
• Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition; strong critical thinking and emergency response.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication.

Aufgaben

• Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents as ordered.
• Provide triage care and communicate patient condition to the multidisciplinary team.
• Document treatment in EMR thoroughly and timely; ensure proper charges.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and treatment plans.
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed; maintain confidentiality and comply with laws.
