Advocate Health Navicent Oncology Nursing is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join a 36-bed medical-surgical oncology unit in Georgia. You will provide direct patient care, administer chemotherapy and other treatments, monitor progress, and educate patients and families within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, collaboration with oncologists, and ongoing professional development in oncology nursing best practices.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license is required.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and oncology treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vitals, labs, and treatment side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to develop care plans.
• Ensure safe medication administration following protocols.
• Assist with port access, blood draws, IV insertion.
• Advocate for patient needs with compassion.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rounds.
• Stay current with oncology nursing best practices.
