Carle Health in Illinois is seeking an Oncology RN to care for patients and families through cancer journeys, from initial diagnosis to treatment and end-of-life support. You will assess, administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, manage IVs and access ports, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, BLS within 30 days, a Nursing Diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois (IDFPR)
BLS within 30 days (AHA)
Nursing Diploma
1+ year RN experience

Responsabilités

Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care.
Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting safety hazards.
Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues.
Offers constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers.
Identifies own learning needs and takes initiative to begin appropriate solution.
Fulfills all requirements of departmental competencies.
Perform patient care duties including head-to-toe assessments, IVs, NG tubes, dressings, meds, Foley catheters, port access, chemo/biotherapy administration.
