UMMC’s Aphaeresis Lab and BMT is recruiting an Oncology RN for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. This role provides direct patient care, administers chemotherapy, educates patients and families, and coordinates with physicians and case managers.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with oncology experience; OCN or BSN is preferred. Part-time position with 100% FTE, in the Main Campus Jackson area, supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• RN license active and unrestricted.
• Two years of RN experience in Oncology preferred.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and education in oncology.
• Coordinate chemotherapy regimens and patient scheduling.
• Collaborate with case managers and other staff.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust as needed.
• Participate in tumor conferences and IRB protocol reviews.
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Maintain quality assurance and nursing checklists.
