Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Oncology Department at Avita Galion Hospital. This full-time role involves assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care to oncology patients, with emphasis on patient/family teaching and advocacy.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• BLS certification, obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification, obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PICCs/Midline insertion training or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for oncology patients in the clinic.
• Educate patients and families; act as patient advocate.
• Coordinate with clinical staff on patient flow and clinic operations as directed by Oncology Manager.
