Avita Health System is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for the Oncology Department across our Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion locations. Ideal candidates will have current licensure in Ohio and relevant certifications, alongside experience in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of online education program for PICC/Midline insertion or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.
• Two or more years of previous experience working in an outpatient specialty clinic/center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, and implements the nursing care of patients within the specialty clinic.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
• Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations.

Skills

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Experience in outpatient specialty clinic

Experience with PICC/Midlines
