Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients across treatment cycles.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications per established protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, treatment response, and adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and chemotherapy handling guidelines.
• Advocate for patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs throughout the cancer care continuum.
• Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and referrals to supportive services.
• Use EMR systems to accurately document care, medication administration, and patient education.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of transparency and teamwork.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and use your expertise to support safety, symptom management, and care coordination.
