Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Oncology RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients in acute and outpatient settings. The RN will safely administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, monitor treatment responses, manage symptoms, and educate patients and families.

You’ll coordinate with oncologists and allied professionals to ensure high-quality, individualized care nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Oncology knowledge and patient-care experience.
• Certification in chemotherapy or biotherapy preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for emergency readiness.
• Strong documentation in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients across the treatment continuum.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications safely and per protocol.
• Monitor and document patient status, treatment response, and side effects; escalate concerns promptly.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Advocate for patients, supporting psychosocial needs and connecting them with resources.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based oncology practices.
