Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is seeking an Oncology Business Representative to support insurance verification, authorizations, and treatment plan review in an infusion-focused clinic. You will help reduce financial barriers for patients receiving complex cancer therapies while coordinating with nursing, pharmacy, billing, and authorization teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, familiarity with EMR systems, and a strong eye for detail to ensure accurate claims

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, preferably oncology, infusion or specialty care.
Experience reviewing claims and identifying denial patterns in high-cost therapies.

Responsabilités

Insurance verification and benefits coordination to support timely care.
Authorization and treatment plan review to minimize denials and optimize reimbursement.
Claims management and revenue cycle support in a fast-paced oncology setting.
Patient financial clearance and clear communication with care teams.
Documentation, compliance, and process improvement within the clinic.
