Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center seeks an experienced registered nurse to coordinate new patient intake and care across physicians, while serving as an EMR data liaison during system conversion. The role supports triage nursing and tracks referral patterns, scheduling all new consults.

Required RN licensure and BLS CPR; oncology nursing background preferred, with experience in infusion operations highly valued to support comprehensive cancer care services.

Qualifications

• 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic.
• RN, BLS CPR required; ONS/OCN highly preferred.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Oncology clinic and/or infusion operations knowledge highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates new patient intake and care for all physicians.
• EMR Data Specialist and Provider Liaison.
• Assist Triage Nurses.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting incoming referral patterns.
• Scheduling of all new consult patients.
