The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Oncology Research Nurse (RN) for daytime, full-time hours at the KU Clinical Research Center. Monday through Friday, four 9-hour shifts, with no weekends or holidays.

The RN will provide professional nursing care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, including cancer therapies, IV therapy, and symptom management. Collaboration with the care team is essential for safe, evidence-based care.

Competenze

• High School Graduate
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
• 1+ years med surg/acute care
• 1+ years oncology experience

• Collects and analyzes data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Performs patient assessments and documents in medical record.
• Documents changes and omissions of the plan.
