Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for the Rogel Cancer Center in Brighton/Ann Arbor area. The role focuses on culturally sensitive, team-based care and includes complex nursing responsibilities such as chemo administration, port maintenance, and patient education.

Ideal candidates will have Michigan RN licensure, 3+ years of RN experience, and at least 1 year in oncology within the last five years. BSN and OCN certification are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology RN experience within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, team-based care models in oncology nursing.
• Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
• Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources.
• Manage clinic flow including triage/assessment of high acuity patients, therapy education, procedural and surgical education, medication administration and management (including chemo).
• Maintain annual CE hours specific to oncology and pursue OCN certification.
