Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in the ambulatory setting on the Gold team, focusing on Symptom Management & Breast Oncology. Responsibilities include education, symptom management, and coordinated care with the broader team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse to practice in Michigan.
• Minimum of 18 months of oncology RN experience within the last five years; OR 3 years of ambulatory care experience within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including education, symptom management, and triage in a clinical ambulatory care setting on the Gold team, primarily to Symptom Management & Breast Oncology.
• Support professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assess the needs of the patient undergoing procedures; plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; and teach patients, families orients colleagues and peers.
• Maintain Commission on Cancer Continuing Education requirements.
