Job summary

Illinois Cancer Specialists in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a full-time, salaried role. The position offers an annual salary range of $60,000–$80,000 and a benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401(k), HSA, generous PTO, and Wellness Perks.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess and manage patient/family needs, support compliance programs, and deliver high-quality oncology care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current State Board of Nursing registration.
• BLS certification required; ongoing continuing education.
• Oncology certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
• Administers therapies under the direction of a physician.
• Provides psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Triages patient calls and coordinates referrals.
