Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an experienced RN to join our team in providing high-quality cancer care across our clinic network. You will administer chemotherapy, perform IV starts, and collaborate with physicians to manage symptoms and treatment plans.

The role requires an active RN license in TN or a compact state, with oncology experience and chemotherapy certification within 6 months. Travel to satellite clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Current TN or compact state RN license.
• Minimum one-year RN experience; oncology preferred.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and performs direct patient care, collaborating with other care providers and team members.
• Starts peripheral IVs and manages central venous access devices including ports.
• Administers chemotherapy and other drugs per TO standards after training and competency validation.
• Documents charges for services performed and medications administered.
• Travels to other TO clinics as needed.
