Job summary

Tennessee Oncology seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across the cancer treatment continuum, from diagnosis through end-of-life support. You will administer chemotherapy and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams within TO’s community-based clinics.

Ideal candidates hold a TN or compact RN license, with oncology experience and BLS; ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Current TN or compact state RN license.
• Minimum one-year RN experience; may waive with Executive Director of Nursing approval.
• Oncology certification strongly recommended within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer chemotherapy per TO standards.
• Perform telephone triage and monitor patient symptoms and needs.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs and MAs.
• Coordinate with SCRI nurses to ensure protocol documentation and research paperwork.
