Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Oncology Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) to engage with national and regional scientific leaders. You will provide balanced, non-promotional scientific information and support investigator-sponsored studies to enhance understanding of scientific goals.

The role requires 3+ years in oncology, strong communication, and travel up to 50% within the territory. This is a field-based position primarily covering the greater Los Angeles area.

Formación

• PhD, MD, PharmD, or DNP required.
• 3+ years of clinical or research oncology experience.
• Strong ability to discuss complex science with external stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and ethics in pharma.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of time.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Develop professional relationships with national and regional scientific leaders.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain engagement with leaders.
• Support Company-Sponsored Trials and respond to investigator questions.
• Identify potential investigators and discuss study concepts for trials.
• Share areas of scientific interest and align with research strategies.
• Provide guidance and information to investigators requesting participation.
• Educate and train team members on current scientific and clinical developments.
• Attend scientific and medical meetings.
