Merck is seeking an Oncology Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) to lead scientific exchange with national and regional leaders, ensuring rigorous, non-promotional medical information about our portfolio is shared with external experts. The role requires a credential (MD, PhD, or PharmD), at least 3 years in oncology, and ability to travel up to 50% within the greater Los Angeles area.
Primary responsibilities include supporting Company-Sponsored Trials and providing scientific guidance
Formación
- Clinical (patient care) or deep research experience in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Minimum of 3 years' oncology experience.
- Ability to discuss with external stakeholders at doctoral level.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and pharma regulations.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Responsabilidades
- Develop relationships with national and regional scientific leaders.
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain scientific presence.
- Support Company-Sponsored Trials and investigator questions.
- Identify potential investigators and study sites.
- Share areas of interest and discuss study concepts.
- Attend scientific and medical meetings.
