Job summary

Navista is seeking a senior leader for Revenue Cycle Management to supervise financial counseling across oncology sites, ensuring timely access to care and clear patient guidance on coverage and costs.

You will drive enrollment in financial assistance programs, partner with clinicians, and optimize workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong KPI performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in healthcare admin, business, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle or financial counseling experience.
• 3+ years of people management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance plans, oncology benefits, prior authorizations and patient financial responsibility.
• Experience with large MSO multi-site oncology practice or complex specialty setting.
• Familiarity with EHR and RCM systems (Epic, Aria/Mosaiq, OncoEMR).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of financial counselors providing real-time support to patients and care teams.
• Escalate complex patient financial issues that could delay care.
• Embed financial counseling into clinical workflows to support same-day decisions.
• Oversee front-end revenue cycle functions including insurance verification and patient cost estimation.
• Collaborate with coding, billing, and collections to ensure continuity across the revenue cycle.
• Monitor KPIs related to access, counseling timeliness, authorization turnaround, and financial clearance rates.
• Develop SOPs and best practices for immediate patient and provider support.
• Partner with physicians and practice administrators to improve access and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
