Job summary

You will be responsible for patient setup, verification of treatment accuracy, and maintaining equipment quality, collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver safe, effective care.

The role includes daily imaging, review of treatment plans, scheduling simulations, and serving as on-call therapist. Excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of immobilization, laser lines, marks and treatment parameters before each session.
• Perform initial imaging and daily imaging to verify treatment area per physician prescription.
• Review each chart weekly for parameter checks and treatment details.
• Schedule boost simulations and treatment planning CTs as needed; coordinate daily appointments and on-call coverage.
• Report any treatment machine malfunctions to Chief Medical Physicist and Chief Radiation Therapist.
