Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in Mississippi is seeking a Radiation Therapist to perform procedures according to radiation oncology practice standards, supporting diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications

ARRT Therapy (T) credential with current registry or recent graduate awaiting registry; must provide proof within 60 days of graduation
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
State licensure as required by state regulations

Responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of Radiation Oncology principles and utilizes appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments
Administers the approved procedure/treatment plan
Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies
Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in neat and safe condition
Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets standards
Completes assigned goals
