Responsibilities include QA checks, CT simulations, image verification, and maintaining detailed dose records. ARRT-T certification and BCLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT-T Radiation Therapist credential required or pending licensure.
• State license to practice radiologic technology as applicable.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using megavoltage equipment.
• Position patients and adjust equipment per treatment plan with proper immobilization.
• Perform daily QA checks and address deficiencies on treatment machines.
• Conduct CT simulations and acquire portal/verification images per protocol.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and dose documentation.
• Communicate treatment expectations clearly to patients and families.
