Job summary

Amgen Inc. invites undergrad students to join the Undergraduate Intern-R&D (Oncology Research) for Summer 2027 in the United States.

You will engage in Oncology discovery research to develop and evaluate innovative approaches for characterizing therapeutic candidates while generating data to support early-stage screening and prioritization. The program emphasizes hands-on lab work, design and execution of experiments, and communication of findings.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's Degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to characterize target biology and evaluate therapeutic candidate activity.
• Develop and optimize in vitro assays to evaluate assay sensitivity, reproducibility, and performance.
• Analyze results and maintain detailed records in an electronic notebook.
• Summarize and present findings during lab meetings and internal symposiums.
