Job summary

Arizona Center for Cancer Care is seeking a dynamic Physician Relations Manager to drive growth within our oncology service lines in the Arizona market. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining relationships with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to increase loyalty and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in physician relations or healthcare sales, with oncology focus.
• Understanding of oncology treatments, procedures, and medical terminology.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with referring physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals in the Arizona market.
• Collaborate with physicians to understand needs and align services with patient care objectives.
• Seek opportunities to grow business within assigned markets and take appropriate action.
• Monitor market trends and competition to identify growth opportunities and barriers.
• Record daily sales activities and provide updates on prospects and movement through sales process.
• Serve as a communication resource to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication with physicians, leadership, and colleagues to align goals.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with providers, employers, and consumers to resolve issues and develop product knowledge.
• Partner with departments to develop sales tools and materials; suggest new opportunities with financial viability.
• Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance; ensure ethical standards.
• Identify issues/opportunities and report to Director of Business Development; resolve problems during the sales process.
