Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Physician Business Development Representative (Oncology) to bridge physicians and hospital leadership, addressing access, timeliness of service and quality of care.

You will educate community physicians about Tampa General's ambulatory services, develop sales plans to increase referrals, meet with five physician offices daily, and coordinate CME programs; reports are provided to leadership monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• At least 2 years in physician relations or physician-targeted medical sales.
• Experience in oncology, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate physicians and staff about Tampa General Hospital services.
• This job requires extensive time out of the office as the Physician Liaison calls on five physician offices per day.
• Attend meetings for orientation and problem solving activities.
• Recommend improvements to customer satisfaction.
• Help maximize utilization of hospital facilities.
• Develop and implement 8–10 CME programs per month to increase referrals.
• Provide written reports to administration on a monthly basis.
• Assist in recruiting physicians.
