Job summary

Virginia Oncology Associates in Virginia Beach is seeking a Part-Time Lab Tech (Phlebotomist) to support our outpatient lab operations. You will collect specimens, assist with testing procedures, and maintain documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of phlebotomy experience; travel between local sites may be required. In-person role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from patients and perform specimen analysis as directed.
• Assist with testing procedures and maintain documentation.
• Send specimens to reference labs and process orders.
• Update daily paperwork and lab logs; operate equipment and perform maintenance.
