Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacist - Oncology for per diem coverage in Fairhaven, MA. The role supports outpatient chemotherapy services and collaborates with nurses and physicians to optimize cancer care across Southcoast Oncology centers.

The position requires a BS Pharmacy, MA license, and experience with USP 797/800; oncology background is preferred. Per diem schedule with day shifts and cross-site coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Massachusetts-licensed Pharmacist is required.
• Experience in USP 797/800 environment is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred; one year preferred.
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy is preferred.
• Must be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical review and dispensing of outpatient chemotherapy.
• Serve as resource for nurses and physicians in oncology care.
• Communicate with patients and health professionals to optimize medication therapy.
• Understand and work on clinical trials.
• Provide supervision of assigned personnel.
