Zusammenfassung

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an Oncology Pharmacy Specialist to support our Transplant/Cellular Therapy and Hematology service line. You will collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and pharmacy teams to develop chemotherapy plans, optimize drug management, and educate patients on their regimens.

You will ensure adherence to policies, manage immunosuppression consults, and drive safety and quality improvements within a complex oncology program.

Qualifikationen

Oncology pharmacy experience or PGY-2 in Oncology
BCOP certification or eligible within 2 years of hire
Active TN Pharmacist license or eligible
Four-year hospital experience or equivalent in Oncology
Excellent communication and computer skills
ACLS within 6 months of start date
BCLS within 6 months of start date
Doctorate or Bachelor's degree required

Aufgaben

Develop treatment plans and chemotherapy orders with providers
Optimize medication management for transplant/cellular therapy
Educate patients on chemotherapy
Manage immunosuppression consults and safety processes
Improve medication safety and oversee policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement, inventory, and ordering of pharmaceuticals
Record and communicate using computerized documentation systems
