Job summary

Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a clinically trained pharmacist to join a growing team. The role includes patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, on a rotating basis, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement clinical pharmacy services for the cellular therapy program.

Responsibilities include developing treatment protocols, participating in tumor boards, research trials, and precepting students and residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy; Doctorate or PharmD is required.
• Indiana Pharmacist license; Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy with oncology focus preferred.
• Oncology residency training (PGY1/PGY2) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings on a rotating basis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and maintain clinical pharmacy services for the cellular therapy program.
• Develop treatment and supportive care protocols and network policies.
• Participate in disease-specific tumor boards, research/clinical trials, and precepting students.
