Job summary

West Cancer Center in Germantown, TN, is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead our pharmacy workflow, supervise technicians, and ensure safe, accurate dispensing of cancer therapies.

This role focuses on training, regulatory readiness, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize infusion and specialty pharmacy operations. A bachelor’s degree and several years in oncology pharmacy are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years oncology IV compounding and/or retail pharmacy experience.
• PTCB certification and Tennessee pharmacy license.
• Preferred: Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy technician staff and students with performance reviews.
• Oversee accurate preparation of chemotherapeutic admixtures.
• Provide annual hazardous drug training for staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate with leadership to align training with goals.
• Operate automated dispensing cabinets and verify orders.
