Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to support the Denison location. The role involves compounding, dose verification, and inventory management within the clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy. This is a full-time position with weekday hours.

Under supervision of a physician or licensed pharmacist, you will prepare medications, ensure accuracy, and adhere to compliance standards. Level 1, 2, or Sr depending on experience. No weekends, no call, or major holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level pharmacy experience acceptable.
• IV sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician recommended unless required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Verify orders for completeness and proper physician authorization.
• Admix drugs accurately and timely per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and inventory controls.
• Support the medication use continuum including labeling and ordering medications.
