Job summary

BBOT, based in South San Francisco, is seeking a Pharmacology Operations Research Associate II to contribute to cancer biology discovery. You will collaborate on in vivo oncology models, manage study data, and support lab operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will design and execute pharmacology experiments, document protocols, and maintain inventory across sites while adhering to SOPs and IACUC. AALAS certification is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in biology-related discipline with at least 4 years vivarium oncology pharmacology experience
• Industry experience preferred
• Highly motivated, proactive, and organized
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment
• AALAS certification preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute in vivo pharmacology studies including preparation, tumor measurements, compound dosing, blood collection and tissue harvests
• Adhere to SOPs and IACUC protocols to ensure compliant animal care
• Upload and manage experimental data in vivarium management systems and ELN
• Write study protocols and graph data using Prism
• Prepare formulation buffers and compound dosing solutions
• Maintain lab inventory, equipment, and supplies at multiple sites and oversee procurement
• Oversee health monitoring of holding rooms, including sampling of rodent cages and surfaces for third-party testing
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment, and promote operational improvement initiatives
