Qualifications

• PhD not required; BS with 6+ years or MS with 3+ years post-degree experience in cancer biology.
• Experience with cancer biology and in vivo tumor models is valued.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Ability to independently design and execute well-controlled experiments and communicate results to the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of cell-based assays, including western blot, qPCR, ELISAs, reporter assays, growth/phenotypic assays, flow cytometry, co-culture assays, CRISPR- and/or RNAi-mediated functional genomics.
• Execute or support genetic or pharmacological studies to identify, validate, and advance novel targets.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot medium- and high-throughput cell-based assays to support screening and/or compound progression.
• Provide in vitro and ex vivo support and analyses for in vivo pharmacology studies
• Document, analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental results to multidisciplinary project teams (ELN).
• Collaborate with scientists in other functional areas to plan and execute key experiments.
• May provide cancer biology expertise to project teams.
