Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Colorado is seeking an experienced PET Tech to perform PET scan procedures, assist with scheduling, and ensure accurate patient information and records across on-site locations in Boulder, Denver, and surrounding areas.

The role requires an AMA-accredited nuclear medicine degree, 3–5 years of nuclear medicine or PET experience, and CNMT/ARRT licensure where applicable; PET technologists with ARRT(N), R, CT or NMTCB(CT) credentials are highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
  • PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
  • Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
  • Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.
