Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is seeking an experienced PET Tech to perform PET scan procedures, inject radiopharmaceuticals, set up protocols, reconstruct images, report and archive results. The role includes assisting with scheduling and front office tasks to maintain workflow.

The candidate will ensure patient information accuracy, report distribution and file management while collecting clinical data for follow-up and education.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
  • PET Technologist with ARRT (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
  • Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
  • Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.

Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET Tech.

This position requires on-site work at multiple locations and may be scheduled in Boulder, Thorton or Denver. This position is eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy.

Salary Range: $35.00-55.00
