Job summary

Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona is seeking a PET Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform PET/CT imaging to assist physician diagnoses. You will ensure quality images, proper dosages, and patient safety throughout the exam.

The role requires active Nuclear Medicine licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with travel up to 25% as needed. You will collaborate with cross‑location teams and support regulatory compliance and education for the department.

Qualifications

  • High school education required.
  • Minimum 1 year of PET Technologist experience preferred.
  • State CRT/NMTCB license; ARRT certification preferred; BLS certification required.
  • Active licensure in Nuclear Medicine and General Radiography; CE requirements to be met.

Responsibilities

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients per physician prescriptions.
  • Perform diagnostic PET/CT imaging and ensure high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Maintain safety, calibration, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals and radioactive materials.
  • Support regulatory compliance and credentialing, including licensure and CE tracking.
  • Collaborate with the team across locations and assist in duties as needed.

Education

Active State CRT NMTCB license
ARRT Certification preferred
BLS certification required
High school education
