Job summary

Christian Hospital is seeking a CNA/Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the nursing team.

The role supports a 36-hour work week with night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am), holiday rotation, and every-other-weekend requirements. Certified Nurse Assistant certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience as CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under supervision of the nurse, assists with ADLs and vital signs.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Documents patient care with correct medical terminology and may serve as 1:1 safety sitter.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available to meet patient needs.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
