Christian Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, document care, and help maintain a safe, healing environment during 7:00pm–7:30am shifts. High school diploma or GED and CNA license required; no prior experience necessary.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant license required.
• Preferred experience as CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician.
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care.
• Administers or assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and performs vital signs, intake/output, fall prevention, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education and documents care activities.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
