Christian Hospital and Northwest HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care and support to licensed nurses for a safe, healing environment. The role includes assisting with ADLs, vital signs, I&O, and patient safety measures on night shifts.

Responsibilities include collecting clinical data, educating patients and families, and ensuring supplies are available. The position offers benefits and requires flexibility for holidays and every other weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant license required.
• Experience not required.

Responsabilités

• Implements direct patient care under supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, I&O, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy or point of care testing as requested.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education; acts as 1:1 safety sitter as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
