Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an experienced registered dietitian to lead medical nutrition therapy for hematopoietic cell transplant and oncology patients. You will integrate nutrition care with oncology teams, coordinate nutrition support, and educate patients and caregivers.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, research participation, and mentorship of trainees, with a strong commitment to equity and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field.
• RD credential from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Washington State Certified Dietitian (CD).
• Minimum 2 years' oncology experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with medical nutrition therapy and oncology nutrition management.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess nutritional status and requirements of all patients.
• Provide nutrition assessment and counseling integrating clinical data into nutrition plan.
• Coordinate care with oncology providers and other disciplines.
• Document medical nutrition care in the medical record.
• Manage all medical nutrition therapy and nutrition support practices including enteral and parenteral feeding.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers through counseling and group education.
