Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy for hematopoietic cell transplant and general oncology patients, within a multidisciplinary team at our Seattle locations.

The role includes nutrition assessment, education for patients and families, and coordination of enteral and parenteral nutrition, with a base salary range of $80,475 to $120,681 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• RD and CD certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years’ oncology experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Competency in physiology, parenteral and enteral nutrition, medical nutrition therapy and oncology nutrition management.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess nutritional status of HCT and oncology patients.
• Provide nutrition assessment and counseling integrating lab data, meds and history.
• Coordinate care with oncology providers and other disciplines.
• Document nutrition care in medical records per standards.
• Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition and patient education.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field

Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registered Dietitian (RD)

Washington State Certified Dietitian (CD)

Master’s degree in clinical nutrition
