Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in Las Vegas seeks a full-time Nursing Services Supervisor at the Twain clinic. You will coordinate nursing functions, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with standards while managing budgets and policy development.

The role requires leadership experience, nursing licensure, and oncology experience. You will mentor staff, oversee staffing, and participate in performance evaluations in a fast-paced oncology environment.

Qualifications

• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical operations for nursing support activities.
• Establish and maintain nursing personnel files; ensure licensing and certification criteria are met.
• Assist with review and revision of clinical policies and procedures.
• Maintain staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics within budgetary parameters; participate in interviewing and recruiting of nursing personnel.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures; ensure correct use of charge codes and educate staff on reimbursement guidelines.
• Develop new services and activities for patients, families, and staff in line with practice objectives.
• Provide staff training and serve as mentor/preceptor; support annual performance evaluations.
