Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a full-time Charge Registered Nurse at our Southern Hills clinic in Henderson, Nevada. The role provides leadership for nursing and clinical staff and supports the manager of nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will supervise clinical operations, assist with staff training, staffing, policy updates, documentation, and patient flow. BSN preferred with RN license, BLS, and ongoing education required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current state registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing clinical support activities as directed by the nursing services manager.
• Assist in staff training and in-service instruction.
• Determine staffing requirements and maintain coverage within budget.
• Participate in interviewing and recruiting nursing personnel.
• Review and revise clinical policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate coding and charge capture.
• Participate in annual performance evaluations of nursing staff.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assist with patient flow, exams, procedures, and referrals.
• Interprofessional collaboration and mentoring.
