Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our oncology team. You will provide professional nursing care under general supervision, following standards and guidelines for oncology practice.

Responsibilities include administering therapies, performing venipuncture, maintaining documentation, and coordinating patient care with the interdisciplinary team. Compliance with the US Oncology program and continuing education are emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN state license and current registration with the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred 1 year in Oncology.
• BSN Preferred.
• Must maintain continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care.
• Assesses health status by interviewing patients and collecting history.
• Administers therapies under physician supervision and ensures proper documentation.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and supports psychosocial needs.
• Facilitates patient flow, coordinates tests, referrals, and future appointments.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and provides nursing coverage as needed.
• Participates in professional development to stay current in oncology nursing.
