Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time Nursing Services Supervisor at our Twain clinic. You will coordinate nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care within budget and policy guidelines. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced oncology clinic.

The role requires RN licensure, BSN/MSN preferred, and oncology leadership experience. You will mentor staff, oversee staffing levels, and support compliance with US Oncology standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the nursing operations for all clinical support activities.
• Establishes and maintains nursing personnel files; ensures licensing and certification criteria are met.
• Assists with review and revision of clinical policies and procedures.
• Maintains staffing coverage and manages operating costs within budgetary parameters.
• Participates in interviewing and recruiting nursing personnel; performs tasks assigned to staff nurses.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of labor laws and schedules; coordinates staffing including vacations, sick leave, and overtime.
• Monitors patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures; directs use of charge codes per reimbursement guidelines.
• Develops new services and activities for patients, families, and staff in line with practice objectives.
• Implements staff retention and training programs with clinic leads.
