The Division of Hematology Oncology at UC Davis Health in Sacramento seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide independent, advanced-level clinical expertise to patients and families. You’ll manage chronic conditions, routine and acute care, and chemotherapy protocols per standards or licensure, acting as a resource to staff.

This 100% on-site role emphasizes clinical practice with leadership in education and involvement in clinical trials within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

Must have valid California RN license without restriction.
Must have California NP Furnishing License.
Must hold California NP board certification without restriction.
DEA certificate required within 3 months of hire.
AHA/Red Cross BLS or UC Davis Health CPR required.
National NP board certification in aligned specialty.
CITI Certification within 3 months from hire.
Master’s degree/DNP/PhD in Nursing.
Minimum 1 year clinical Oncology experience as RN or NP.
Minimum 1 year experience as NP.

Responsabilités

Provide independent, advanced-level NP clinical expertise in hematology/oncology.
Manage patient care; perform/assist procedures per approved protocols.
Act as expert resource for health care providers and staff.
Lead education for patients and staff and participate in clinical trials.
Clinical practice constitutes ~90% of duties with ~10% other professional activity.
