UC San Diego Health is seeking an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide expert clinical leadership across the cancer care continuum. This APN role focuses on safe, evidence-based administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments through clinical guidance and staff education.

The CNS partners with nursing, physicians, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to support complex patient care, lead quality and safety initiatives, and improve outcomes and patient

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• RN license issued by California required.
• Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist required or completion within six months.
• BART or BLS required at time of hire with plan to obtain BART within six months.
• Five+ years of Oncology or Outpatient Oncology experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert clinical leadership to improve cancer patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
• Promote evidence-based administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments through guidance and staff education.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to standardize practice and lead quality initiatives.
• Coach and mentor staff, support career development and ensure safety and patient experience improvements.
