Job summary
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's leading oncology provider, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our busy clinic. This role may report to Aurora, Centennial, Englewood (Swedish Medical Center Campus) or Littleton and involve close collaboration with oncologists and the care team to deliver patient-centered care.
The environment is fast-paced with high acuity; candidates should have strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a dynamic schedule.
Qualifications
- MSN from an accredited nursing school and NP program completion.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state licensure as Nurse Practitioner and BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
- Initiates and documents interventions; prescribes therapies as indicated.
- Performs procedures with minimal supervision.
- Educates patients and families; promotes wellness.
- Completes charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
- May provide case management and participate in clinical trials.
