Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Longmont seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our busy oncology clinic and serve as a hospitalist, seeing patients in clinic throughout the week.

You will provide comprehensive cancer care, work closely with oncologists, nurses, and the care team, managing a full and dynamic schedule in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner MSN from an accredited program and 3+ years in specialty.
• RN licensure and state Board of Nursing registration; NP license.
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants.
• MSN in Clinical Nurse Specialist for CNS path is acceptable with 3+ years.
• AOCNP or AOCNS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hospital rounding and clinical evaluations, care management and planning with physician team.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and documents patient care; initiates interventions and prescribes therapies.
• Performs procedures with supervision and supports education and resources for patient and family.
