Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Colorado is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP or PA) to join a very busy oncology clinic serving Aurora, Centennial, Englewood (Swedish Medical Center Campus), or Littleton.

The APP will deliver comprehensive cancer care, working closely with oncologists and nurses in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MSN required for NP path; NP license in practicing state; 3 years of NP experience preferred.
• PA path requires NCCPA certification and state PA license; 3 years of PA practice preferred.
• CNS path requires MSN with Clinical CNS program and valid CNS license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in oncology setting.
• Initiate interventions, document responses and prescribe therapies as indicated.
• Perform procedures with minimal supervision and provide patient/family education.
• Promote wellness and use evidence-based practice; manage documentation and billing.
• Rounding at affiliated hospitals may be required; provide coverage for after-hours as needed.
